Yahad-2021

The 15th Forum of Estonian Jewry Yahad-2021 was held in Pärnu from October 8 to 10 in cooperation with Nadav Foundation and ANU Museum of the Jewish People.

Within the framework of this forum, the Jewish Community and the Mayor of Tallinn, Mihhail Kõlvart, signed a cooperation agreement on the development of Jewish education in Estonia. The roundtable “The Future of Jewish Museums” was attended by the Director of Engagement and Outreach of the Nadav Foundation Roman Kogan, the heads of the Estonian and Latvian Jewish museums Gennadi Gramberg and Ilya Lensky, and historian Joseph Katz. The discussion was moderated by Riga-based journalist Evgeny Erlich of TV. Interesting lectures, including by regional historians Michael Korol and Zeev Volk from Israel, heated discussions, unforgettable concerts, master classes, a children’s program – all these events attracted hundreds of participants.
